I'm watching a Cohen Brothers picture I have not yet seen before tonight.
#16 Barton Fink
Barton Fink's success as a New York playwright leads to an offer to come write in Hollywood for the motion picture business. When he arrives, he is asked to write a wrestling picture for Wallace Beery, and finds himself struggling under writer's block. He finds inspiration from a neighbor, and then everything seems to go to hell.
"Hell, yeah, I could tell you some stories."
What the hell? I have enjoyed pictures by the Cohen Brothers before, but this one really threw me for a loop more than any others I've seen, and left an impression. I like that about it.
